Paws in the Park
Many, many Paws in the Park at yesterday’s doggy event in Rouken Glen Park. I confess I paid more attention to cuddles than photos but I hope you like this lot. It was incredibly hard not to take some of the puppies home.

T in the Park 2011: Bands
I spent last weekend at T in the Park, shooting promotional pictures for the festival organisers, DF Concerts, and I found a little time to photograph a few bands. Lots more to show’n'tell soon but here are some photos of Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Slash and Ocean Colour Scene.

Young Business of the Year Finalist
I’m delighted to announce I’ve been selected as a finalist for Young Business of the Year at the Association of Scottish Businesswomen Awards. Clearly, the ‘young’ is in relation to the business, not my age
Read all about it on the Scottish Women in Business website and cross your fingers for me in September when the winner is announced!

Vote for me!
As if I’d ask for votes. As if! I’m merely informing you that voting has begun for the Scottish New Music Industry Awards and I happen to be one of the contenders for Event Photographer of the Year. I am ridiculously excited about it and will be crossing my fingers and holding my breath until the August deadline.
Anybody can vote but only one vote per IP address is permitted. You’ll find the voting form on the Scottish New Music Industry Awards website right now.
There are 27 categories including Live Club, Sound Engineer, Concert Venue, Media Person, Event, Director, Poster Artist, Radio Show and Record Label. I could go on but you’ll see them for yourself when you go to vote, won’t you?

Event Photographer of the Year: Nomination
I’m delighted to say I’ve been nominated for Event Photographer of the Year in the Scottish New Music Awards 2011! I received my certificate on the anniversary of the first day of my post-BBC life. That felt quite poignant. Thanks so much to those of you who voted for me, it’s very much appreciated.
Unsurprisingly, I will be shouting about this a few more times before the winner is announced in September (I know, I can’t believe it’s that far away!) but I thought it was about time I shouted about it on my website. Voting begins online on the 2nd May. In the celebrated words of Rebecca Black, “I so excited!”.
